It's been a frustrating summer for Chicago Blackhawks super star Patrick Kane. The Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson has been trying to trade Kane aswell as Johnathan Toews but hasn't had much luck as of yet.

Many fans have wondered where Kane can likely end up? The rumors have had Kane linked to the Edmonton Oilers, Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers and even his hometown team, the Buffalo Sabres where Kane has already express wanting to play before his career is over.
Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli mentioned what he's heard about Kane and his feelings towards the trade chatter.
Seravalli believes Kane is not willing to be traded before the 2022-23 kicks off as he explained on the Daily Faceoff Rundown hockey podcast with Jason Gregor:
"That if he is going somewhere, that he would like to go at the deadline or sometime around then. So probably sometime into 2023. Obviously that can change but, I am told the teams that had at least preliminarily discussed or talked about the idea either internally or externally what have you are the New York Rangers, the Edmonton Oilers, the Toronto Maple Leafs - I don't know pick a team, like the Vegas Golden Knights, one that is always in the mix, has expressed some kind of interest. I wonder about a team like the Los Angeles Kings - like there are many teams that could fit, not salary cap wise, but a star like Patrick Kane in the mix.»

Despite Kane still being able to produce at a top six role if a trade is going to eventually happen Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson is going to have to also retain salary not many Gm's have Patrick Kane money available in the salary cap.
