Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher has been sneakily having a productive offseason.

Yesterday, amidst the coaching search frenzy, the Flyers announced that he an his team have signed forward Linus Sandin to a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $750K.
Sandin, 26, most recently made his NHL debut this season against the Islanders. In 36 games played with with the Phantoms in 2021-22, he registered eight goals and 12 assists. He was undrafted into the NHL.

Sandin's signature comes as the Flyers look to secure their depth heading into an uncertain offseason which includes them picking at 5th overall. Sandin's 2-way deal makes it easier for him to be moved up and down the NHL and AHL while his cap hit doesn't hurt anybody.
Maybe he will surprise us and make the NHL next season.
