The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the Philadelphia Flyers'AHL team, are unexpectedly successful and have a very promising future ahead of them, the complete opposite ofthe Philadelphia Flyers. With a 28-22 record right now, they are fourth in their division and 16 games out of the playoffs.
Garrett Wilson of the Phantoms, a well-known fighter across the numerous levels of professional hockey he has played, beat up McLaughlin of the Bruins during the fight. Wilson is knownfor completing the season with more penalty minutes than points each and every year, whether that is in the NHL, AHL, ECHL or OHL.
Wilson has accumulated 153 penalty minutes in 52 games this season, with fights accounting for the majority of those minutes. Years ago, Wilson was involved in a violent tilt when he fell face first onto the ice, leaving a bloody mess much like his most recent tilt against the Providence Bruins player.
