The Philadelphia Flyers seem to have all odds against them when facing off against the Los Angeles Kings, and not because they are out-skilled, but due to the poor officiating they receive each and every time they face off against them.
Last night was an amazing example of the poor officiating when the Flyers would take a 4-3 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings in overtime. Several times throughout the game Flyers players were hauled down, tripped, interfered with and nothing was called, even a few situations broke out where the Los Angeles Kings clearly had too many men on the ice, even the broadcasters noticed and the referees, but nothing was called.
Heading into overtime after a hectic game the Flyers were hoping for a fresh start, until two Flyers were hauled down, no penalty was called, and the LA Kings headed the other way with a 2-on-1 opportunity- they won the game.
Flyers Tony DeAngelo sure let the referee be known of his frustration; ''get the **** out of here, f****** joke, idiot'' and more, which can be seen below:
