Giroux already making a big playoff impact

Former Flyers captain Claude Giroux wasted no time to make his mark on his new team this postseason. In Game 1 of the first round series between the Washington Capitals and Florida Panthers, Giroux already scored a goal.

Although his team choked a 2-1 lead and ended up losing, Bill Zito, Panthers GM has to be happy that Giroux has showed up and showed out.
After Tom Wilson gave the Caps an early 1-0 lead in the first, Sam Bennet evened the game at late in the period.
To start the second period, Giroux drove the net and with not even a minute gone in the second, gave his team a 2-1 lead.
