The return of two veterans, Sean Couturier, and Cam Atkinson, is also expected to boost the team's performance.
Sean Couturier, who plays as the 1st line Center, is set to return to the ice for training camp.
Having been out since October 2021 and December 2022 due to double-back surgery, he will need to adjust to the changes in the team since he last played.
Similarly, Cam Atkinson's return after neck surgery is expected to further improve the team's performance.
In the 2021-2022 season, he was the second-highest scorer on the Flyers roster, with 50 points.
Although Couturier had a disagreement with the team's decision to keep him sidelined for longer than anticipated, he is content with his recent return to the ice.
