It was a Stanley Cup final rematch Thursday night in Amalie Arena with the Tampa Bay Lightning hosting the Colorado Avalanche.
The Avalanche knocked off the Lightning last year who were trying to 3peat but couldn't beat the Avalanche when it mattered. In what could possibly be the Stanley Cup final again this year, both teams wanted this win.
We would see some bad blood in this one, in the 3rd period with the Lightning having a commanding 5-0 lead the Avalanche players were clearly frustrated.
They would try to take it out on the Lightning players in a big scrum that ended up with Lightning's big rigg Pat Maroon dropping the gloves with Avalanche defensemen Kurtis MacDermid.
This wasn't the first time these two dropped the gloves and likely won't be the last.
