As you probably know, Barry Trotz was sacked earlier today by the New York Islanders. Numerous teams are looking for a new head coach, and he's probably number 1 on each lists.

In the case of the Flyers, and considering the plan they have for next season, a head coach like Trotz would fit just perfectly. We saw it in New York: on paper, his team was probably average, but he made the Conference Finals twice with them.
