Here's the first confirmed Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup

Even if the Flyers will not take part in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it doesn't mean that they will not be exciting.

And for Philadelphia fans, there's still going to be some interesting thing to follow. I'm ready to bet that a lot of fans in the Philly area will watch very closely what Claude Giroux and the Panthers during the postseason.

With that being said, we now have our first confirmed matchup for this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Minnesota Wild will face the St. Louis Blues in the first round.

That is going a hell of a series. The Blues got the advantage during the regular season with 3 wins in 3 games against the Wild. Craig Berube's players also have a big advantage in the special teams category, and we know how important it is to have a good power play and a good penalty kill during the playoffs.

There's still one game left between those two teams by the end of the regular season, which will be a preview of what will happen during the month of May.
