John Tortorella's first press conference as the new Flyers head coach was great. You can say whatever you want about him, but you can't say that he isn't a passionate.
He talked about a LOT of things through his meeting with the media, but one thing that has retained a lot of people's attention is how he talked about Kevin Hayes. Tortorella said that he was the first player he called after being officially hired.
"I'm anxious to work with Kevin, he's one I want to talk to right away. He's a huge piece to this organization," said Tortorella.
He introduced himself and set up a meeting with his new player.
