Earlier today Hockey Canada unveiled the full 25 man roster for Team Canada at the upcoming U-20 World Junior Championships later this month. The World Junior Hovkey Championship Tournament is played throughout the holiday season every year but this past December the IIHF was forced to cancel the tournament due to the Covid pandemic caused many players to rest positive canceling the Tournament.

"We are excited to unveil the 25 players who will represent Canada at the World Juniors, as we believe we have assembled a team that will give us the best chance to win a gold medal on home ice,» said Hockey Canada's director of player personnel Alan Millar. «We know this group of players and staff will represent our country with pride and embrace the opportunity to compete in a unique summer event in Edmonton."
As you know the goal is always gold for Canada but some are concerned about htis roster with a very noticeable lack of star power on this particular version of Team Canada with many big names concentrating on making their NHL clubs.

With that said, here's how Canada will line up:
Forwards
Defence
Goaltenders
Noticeably missing are Owen Power, Kaiden Guhle, Cole Perfetti, Jake Neighbours and Shane Wright.
Amongst that list of players who WILL be there though most intriguing names are likely Connor Bedard, Mason McTavish, Logan Stankoven and Kent Johnson. These players, in my mind, will be the difference makers for Canada if they prevail. I'm also interested to see how the goaltending position plays out. Dylan Garand seems to have the inside track, but Sebastian Cossa is such an intriguing option.
