This is Cutter Gauthier's first Men's National Team goal, as he has played in the Juniors and such before but nothing this big. It is very encouraging to see Cutter be able to cut those corners, to find the back of the net especially on NHL goalies.
Cutter got the Americans on the board with a far-side snipe through traffic with Carter Mazur (DET) driving the net to cause some trouble in front. As the teams go to 2nd intermission tied at 1-1.
