Ian Laperriere ripped his players after Lehigh Valley loss last night
Like the Philadelphia Flyers, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms will also not make the playoffs. Last night, the AHL affiliate team of the Flyers lost 5-0 against the Springfield Thunderbirds.
And after the game, Ian Laperriere, the Phantoms head coach, wasn't happy. He ripped his players for the lack of effort they put out in yesterday's tilt...
"It's a couple guys, it wont hurt me, it will hurt their career. I'm watching, my boss is watching, Flyers are watching, everybody is watching them giving up on their teammates and that's unacceptable. They are going to hurt themselves at the end of the day," said Laperriere.
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms have two games left in their season. They are sitting at the last place in the Atlantic Division with a 28-31-10-5.
