This year the NHL draft is supposed to be pretty deep, with that being said if the regular season were to end today let's take a look at who the Philadelphia Flyers would have the best shot at drafting. With the Flyers having a below average season this year and currently sitting 22nd in the league they have the best shot at getting the 10th overall-pick in the draft this year.

The player who is projected to go 10th overall this year is forward Brayden Yager who plays in the WHL for the Moose Jaws. He is currently listed at 6 foot and is only 166 pounds which isn't very heavy, but that's something the Flyers could work on with him. Yager, as of right now sits in 16th place in scoring in the WHL with 55 points in 48 games, 20 of his points being goals and 35 of them assists. He also isn't that bad of a center averaging 51.9% in the faceoff circle.
In 2021-22 Yager had an incredible rookie year for the Moose Jaws winning the Jim Piggott Memorial Trophy as the league's Rookie of the Year. He would go on to put up 59 points in 63 games during his rookie season.
