Insider proposes intriguing alternatives to Johnny Gaudreau for the Flyers

Anthony DiMarco from the Fourth Period published an interesting poll on his Twitter account: would you rather get Johnny Gaudreau on a 7-year and 70M$ deal or Valeri Nichushkin and Nick Paul for a combined cap hit of 10 to 12M$?

Nichushkin had a breakout season and would solidify Philadelphia's top-6. In the case of Paul, he would become an important piece on the third or fourth line. In one case, you add pure talent in Johnny Gaudreau, and in the other, you add some very valuable depth to the forward group.

I'll still take Gaudreau, though.
