Although it is early in the new season, the up-and-coming Los Angeles Kings are experiencing poor goaltending with the tandem of Cam Talbot and Pheonix Copley. They appear to be putting out feelers to see which teams would be willing to move a goaltender to help them stabilize the net.

Three names have appeared as potential replacement backup goalies for the Kings: Cayden Primeau, Flyers' Felix Sandstrom, and Jaroslav Halak. Primeau, who has a connection to the Flyers through Keith Primeau, was slated to become the next star goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens.
However, after several years in their system, Primeau has not managed to crack the barrier of becoming a regular with the team. Now that the Canadiens are willing to continue to rebuild their roster, they could be willing to move Primeau at a cost.
Up next is Flyers' goaltender Felix Sandstrom. The Flyers' goalie situation is showing a rather deep bench as several goaltenders are becoming eligible to be the backup goaltender to Carter Hart. After the Flyers put Cal Petersen on waivers and Samuel Ersson became the odds-on favourite for the backup role, the Flyers have a chance to move Sandstrom in return for more prospects or draft picks as the team continues to rebuild.

Lastly, Jaroslav Halak, who is the veteran goaltender through several teams, still has enough game left in him to offer the stability the LA Kings need in the net. The Kings are a team that is moving up the ranks as their core is continuing to build with some veteran help in Anze Kopitar. Halak has given his teams solid goaltending when being called upon.
Kings fans will have to wait and see what General Manager Rob Blake has in store as the season wears on.
