As the Flyers' rebuild begins to accelerate and more names continue to surface on who would be available, the entire team seems to be on the block. That should be no surprise to anyone as this roster needs a massive overhaul and a complete redo.

Scott Laughton is still enjoying his gold medal win at the World Championships and seems to be pegged to be traded shortly.
The 29-year-old centerman had a modest year in terms of stats. He played 78 games, scoring 18 goals with 25 assists for 43 points. He has three years left on his contract at a reasonable $3,000,000 AAV.

It would make him an attractive commodity for teams looking for a leadership role as he is one of the assistants for the Flyers. However, many people feel that he would be better to remain with the Flyers in that kind of role to help with the young players that are about to enter the team in the next two or three years.
One player, in particular, has expressed how important Laughton is in terms of his leadership qualities, and that player happens to be Adam Fantilli.
Fantilli is to go in the top three this year in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He certainly speaks highly of Laughton and feels he is a true leader who has helped him at the World Championships. I think in some cases, a player like Laughton would be helpful in a rebuilding phase.
