Despite the Russian government issues, Ivan Fedotov is making waves playing for his navy team in the Armed Forces Ice Hockey Championships in St. Petersburg.

In which participating in this championship will complete Fedotov's military service, and Ivan is expected to be demobilized by the beginning of July. This is good news for him as he will finally be able to get out of Moscow and be free. This means that we could see him in the orange and black soon, in which he could be a great asset with his size and skill.
In the tournament Ivan Fedotov has been seen supporting Flyers colors, wearing an orange Bauer Supreme MACH setup. It is reported that he got the gear made after being acquired by the Flyers but due to political issues, Fedotov was unfortunately never able to play in Philadelphia.

The 26-year-old goaltender has been talked about all over social media and not just by Flyers fans. A photo surfaced on Instagram of Ivan skating beside the opposing goalie, in which he towered over the other Russian. The Finnish-born Russian stands at 6 ft 7 in (201 cm) weighing 205 lb (93 kg; 14 st 9 lb). If Ivan Fedotov played in the national hockey league he would be the tallest goalie in the entire league, beating our Flames goalie Jacob Markstrom who stands at 6 ft 6 in (200 cm).
