Despite a hard fought series, the Boston Bruins got eliminated in 7 games against the Carolina Hurricanes who were the favorite.

With the offseason that began officially yesterday for Boston, here's the big interrogation for them : what will happen with captain Patrice Bergeron? At 36 years old, he could very well call it a career. And what he did, and said, after the game points in that direction.
Fluto Shinzawa, a Bruins beat reporter, said that, at the end of the day, it will be Bergeron's decision to continue or not.
"This is purely Bergeron's call, with influence of his family. Circumstantial evidence - Marchand's emotions after Game 7, Rask's return for one last ride with number 37, his three kids joining him at the TD Garden podium for a press conference after Game 4 - points to a goodbye."
