It's Official - Flyers Confirm the Worst for Ryan Ellis
There was speculation that Ryan Ellis would not be able to suit up this year for the Flyers. Well, the Flyers recently confirmed those speculations, as Ellis is set to miss the entire 2022-23 season.
He suffered a major injury towards his midsection that threatened to end his career. To this point, it seems as though Ellis could very well be dealing with a career-ending injury.
It would have been a huge addition to the Flyers if Ellis was able to play, but unfortunately that won't be happening. It's been known Ellis is likely done for a while but has yet to be stated by the Flyers management, today we got that confirmation.
It is time for Ellis to not rush things, and take all the time he needs to be ready to go for next season.
We hope that this is not the end of his career.
