With the Canadiens in town today, Claude Giroux will begin his last week as a Flyer. Well, probably.
Flyers management likes to remind us all that it's Giroux's decision to leave or to stay, but it seems pretty obvious that he'll be gone by March 21st, day of the trade deadline.
According to Jeff Marek, things are pretty quiet around Claude Giroux for the moment, as the Flyers didn't receive any big offers yet. But I'm ready to bet 2$ that this is going to change very soon...

There's the game tonight against Montreal. His 999th game as a member of the Flyers. The most important (and symbolic) one is going to take place on Thursday as he'll play his 1000th game in front of a packed house against the Nashville Predators.
By the way, the Flyers are preparing some big surprises for that occasion, as they should.
Assuming he's traded on deadline day, his last game will occur next Sunday against the Islanders at Wells Fargo Center, one day before the 21st.
