The New York Rangers got destroyed by the Pittsburgh Penguins for the second consecutive game yesterday. And for the second time in a row, Igor Shesterkin just didn't have an answer, as he was pulled again.

Gerard Gallant's players lost 7-2 and are now trailing 3-1 in this series.
And the Rangers' head coach ripped his players after the game...
"Played soft, we were soft all over the ice (...) We played the right way in New York, there's no reason why we can't play the right way tonight. It's not from the inexperienced guys, either. They're part of our group, but tonight you (saw) a lot of soft, bad plays by a lot of people. It was a team effort tonight," said Gallant.

Behind an NHL bench as a head coach, Gerard Gallant passed the first round only one time. It was with the Vegas Golden Knights during the 2017-18, where they lost in the Finals against the Capitals. He lost in the first round in 2015-16 with the Panthers, and lost in the first round as the Golden Knights' head coach during the 2018-19 season.
