Jame Van Riemsdyk Shared Some News From "Pride Night"

Ever since Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Ivan Provorov decided to not take part in the Flyers warm up due to his feelings about the Flyers Pride jersey, it's draw a serious debate over it and his religion.
Some fans and and others are supporting Provorov while others not so much. But what everyone was overlooking was the effect the NHL Pride games have had especially with the LGBTQ community. This is the NHL's initiative to bring more fans into hockey showing hockey is truly for everyone.
Flyers forward James Van Riemsdyk would share a special moment from the Flyers pride night game vs the Anaheim Ducks.
We met a kid who we hosted earlier in the year who came back and was showing us pictures playing hockey and videos playing hockey. That's what it's all about for me. It just shows the positive impact we can have.
