John Tortorella Admits His Defensemen Sucks at His Position

If you remember about one month ago Flyers Head Coach John Tortorella benched Flyers defenceman Tony DeAngelo after he turned the puck over which ended in back of the Flyers lead.
We were wondering how that would of played out with DeAngelo's past and Tortorella's temper. However, DeAngelo appeared to of got the message and said "He would play better" and I believe he has.
However, it seems that Tortorella isn't still high on DeAngelo's defensive skills according to Flyers Insider Charlie O'Connor DeAngelo has been demoted to the 3rd paring Tortorella said during the Flyers post game conference:
"Tortorella basically admitted today that Tony DeAngelo -- now on the 3rd pair -- probably looked better defensively than he actually was in Carolina because of the support he had on that team. Strongly hinted that they've been surprised at how much work he needs defensively."

DeAngelo is one of those high risk high reward defencemen, he'll pinch and jump into the play to try to help the team score, but that has also costed the Flyers with odd man rushes ending in goals.
