Last night, the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Los Angeles Kings 4-2.

The team is now 7-7-1 for the season, just below the New Jersey Devils in the Metropolitan Division.
Although Tortorella won on the California road trip, he was dissatisfied with the way the NHL handled shot counts.

This is the same coach who occasionally has strong opinions about how the NHL runs things.
In the end, he let them have it, saying the NHL's count of Los Angeles Kings' shots on net was "bullsh**".
John Tortorella did not think the Kings had as many shot on net as they did:

"I call b******* on the shots. I think they hit the button twice on every shot, they screw up the shot clocks, I call b*******. I think they (Flyers) did much better on that."
When the NHL screwed up a call with another team he coached before in 2020, the Columbus Blue Jackets, he let Toronto have it.

Considering Tortorella wears his heart on his sleeve, we should expect nothing less.
He should be proud of himself, as he conquered the Kings in their own territory, but Gary Bettman has still not been dethroned.
