John Tortorella Comments On Ivan Provorov Refusing To Participate In Flyers Pride Night Warmups

Incase you missed the news out of Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Ivan Provorov, he refused to partake in the Flyers warmups due to the fact of the team taking place in pride night, wearing pride-coloured jerseys.
Provorov felt it was against his religion and had no interest in changing his mind. This will obviously come into question as other Russian players have participated in pride night's and will certainly have backlash from the LGBTQ community towards Provorov's decision.
After the game Flyeers Head Coach John Tortorella would take to the podium to answer questions. Torts would answer questions on Provorov but dodged answering his opinion on Provorov's decisions saying just
Provorov was being true to himself and his religion. I respect it
We don't know how this will play out as Provorov has been rumored to be on the trading block previously tonight I guess will have to wait and see.
