As of late, Morgan Frost has been riding quite the confidence ride with his recent play on offense. Frost has been running four goals and three assists in his last six games and feels that he's at his best in his pro career.
These comments were before the game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Flyers who were down 4-1 going into the third period stormed back with two quick goals and pushed the Leafs hard only to come up short losing 4-3.
Torts, in his game-ending presser, decided to pour cold water on Morgan Frost's confidence with his standard pointed honesty on Frost's game tonight. Torts showed no filter as usual, but it's surprising to see that even after a good performance, Torts won't let down his honest filter.

This criticism certainly will be part of the process for Torts to continue to push players like Frost to become better all around offensively and reduce the chances of being removed from the lineup and sent back down to The Phantoms.
Torts has been known for his sharp criticism of his players when it's warranted however he will also state praise when players achieve his vision of how hockey should be played.
The Flyers will be on the road again for their final game before the Christmas break tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes. Game time will be at 7:00 PM in Raleigh.
