Oskar Lindblom, a former Flyer, is about to reach a milestone in his NHL career. Lindblom is five games away from reaching 300 NHL games. It's truly impressive with Oscar's health challenges facing and beating a form of bone cancer.

The 26-year-old forward was selected by the Flyers in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft 138th overall.
On December 13th, 2019 Lindblom received the terrible news that he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. By July 2nd, 2020, Oskar completed his chemotherapy treatments and has remained in remission ever since.

Lindblom spent seven years with the Flyers organization between the parent club and the Phantoms. Currently, he's playing for the San Jose Sharks, where he signed a 2-year deal as a free agent worth $5 million. He has played 32 games with one goal, 4 assists for five points, and one power-play goal.
We wish him well and hope for continued excellent health.
