One player who has greatly succeeded underneath John Tortorella's new system is forward Owen Tippett, the 23-year old forward has accumulated 16 points throughout 29 games played this season, just two points away from his career high point total of 18 points with the Panthers in the 2020-21 season.

Tippett was acquired by the Flyers as a major piece in the Claude Giroux trade, which is a huge win. Giroux played just eighteen games in a Panthers uniform before he hit the free agent, a steep price for the Panthers to give up their top prospect (Owen Tippett) in exchange for Giroux as a rental.
Aside from the amazing stats, there has been a scare this season for Tippett, he endured a concussion against the New Jersey Devils on October 14th which would sideline him for a short amount of time after an accidental collision.
