Philadelphia Flyers' Travis Konecny has returned to the ice for a morning skate in a non-contact jersey. Konecny had been sidelined with an upper-body injury, but his return to practice is a positive sign for his potential return to the Flyers' lineup in the near future.
But not anytime soon? John Tortorella admitted this morning that Konecny may not be back for the entire year, and if so: 'is it even worth it?'
This is astonishing to think about, as Tortorella released a statement saying that Couturier will 'probably' return before Travis Konecny. Couturier is coming off his second back surgery, so one can only assume the severity of Konecny's 'upper-body injuries', on which the Flyers haven't revealed a single bit of info on.

Tortorella on TK and Coots' injuries:
"I haven't talked to Tommy (medical staff member) on TK much, as for Coots i have talked more regarding him as he probably closer to return, i leave it up to the medical staff".
Torts says that he's not sure if Konecny will be able to return this season. Part of it is a discussion of "is it worth it?" with him. Torts notes that Couturier is probably closer to a return than Konecny is.
