The hockey world was absolutely stunned, when we seen one of the biggest trades in recent history between the Florida Panthers and Calgary Flames.
I'm talking about the trade that sent Matthew Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers in return for Johnathan Huberdeau, Mackenzie Weegar, prospect Cole Schwindt, and a first round draft pick.
This trade was disappointing to Flames fans at first because Tkachuk already signed long-term while many feel that Huberdeau and Weegar will likely be traded being both are are pending unrestricted free agents next season.
Flames fans would get some news that might make them feel better both Johnathan Huberdeau Mackenzie Weegar said they were open to signing in Calgary who's morale is low after losing Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau this month.
