Last season it looked like the Calgary Flames built something special unfortunately they wouldn't get to see it through after being eliminated by their biggest rivals the Edmonton Oilers in the second round.

After that the Flames would learn some bad news when Johnny Hockey decided not to return to Calgary signing a massive 7-year deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Gaudreau's departure left Flames fans and teammates feeling betrayed. Infact one of Gaudreau's former teammates is looking forward to maybe catching Gaudreau with his head down when they play the Blue Jackets. That player is Milan Lucic.

Lucic recently joined Jesse and JD and was asked about the first opportunity he has to play Gaudreau.
Host: I gotta ask, buddy, on January 23rd, when Gaudreau comes back to the Saddledome and you see him cutting across the ice with his head down, I know you guys were buddies for a long time, but do you lay him out or what?

Lucic: Okay, yeah, it will be like before I was a Calgary Flame. You go out there and you try and take a number on the other team's best player.
The Flames and Blue Jackets play each other on January 23rd and by the way Johnny Hockey left the Flames and Lucic's comments that game is going to be a must see.
