With the extension of Rasmus Ristolainen, the Flyers allocates way too much money on their Top-4 on defence. That's the reason why one of Travis Sanheim or Ivan Provorov are probably going to be dealt.
When? It's more probable that Chuck Fletcher will wait until the summer to make a deal. And if the Flyers GM want to trade Provorov, we will have to look out for the Vegas Golden Knights.
Vegas GM, Kelly McCrimmon knows very well the Russian defenseman, as he brought him to the Brandon Wheat Kings in the WHL back when he was the owner of the team.
During his stint with the Wheat Kings, Provorov collected 134 points in 122 games. The only thing is that the Golden Knights don't have any cap space left, so it's going to be difficult for them to find some space to squeeze Provorov's contract...
