You can't accuse the players to quit. Even when they were down 4-0 after one period, they continue to play hard and scored three goals to cut the deficit to one goal at the end of the second period.
They still lost by a big margin, but when you talk about establish a culture, that's what you're looking at. Let's give some credit to Mike Yeo...
However, there was something more important than the final score: the health of
Scott Laughton. He fell awkwardly into the boards after being hit during the second period. Laughton left the game with a head injury and never returned...

1. Without any doubt, this team isn't good. But they showed a lot of character recently...
2. Ristolainen played a pretty good game. It was his first appearance since the announcement of his extension with the team. He finished the tilt with 1 assist, a plus-1 rating, 3 shots on goal, 5 hits, 2 block shots and a 24:14 time on ice. He could've done a better job to stay out of the penalty box though...
3. The Flyers still have a long way to go before being able to clash with the best teams in the league. The Panthers were terribly fast for their opponents last night...
4. That's not great. But let's not forget that he played with absolutely terrible teams in his career.
