Flyers are preparing multiple surprises for Claude Giroux

Claude Giroux will play his 997th game in the NHL tonight against the Panthers. That means that he'll be 3 games shy of the 1000th mark. It's obviously a big milestone in the career of a player, but it's even more special in the case of Giroux.
He's been a lot in trade rumours, and it's pretty obvious that he's going to be dealt by the deadline. His 1000th game as a Flyer (and in the NHL by the same way) will take place on March 17th, at Wells Fargo Center against the Nashville Predators.
That's 4 days before the trade deadline, so it's a pretty good timing...
According to Brandon Sommermann, the Flyers organisation is preparing some surprises for this special night. We do not have the details on what these surprises are, but let's bet that it's going to be a very emotional night for Claude Giroux.
