Scott Laughton has also stood up for the community and worked for LGBT+ people in the Philadelphia area.
It appears that Laughton hasn't read the memo or didn't care about it, and will continue to use pride tape during pride night.
He partnered with former Philadelphia Flyers James Van Riemsdyk to organize in the community, donate tickets to the LGBTQ communities, and grow the game there.
Last year, he hosted a non-binary youth hockey player and their family in honor of Pride Night.
It is important to remember that even in the midst of all the polarization, the real ones like Laughton and McDavid are still standing up, and Philly should be proud that he has a spine.
