Lifetime ban handed out after referee gets his bones broken by a player
The hockey world has recently been talking a lot about a player by the name of Evan Polei, but not for the proper reasons.
Polei assaulted a referee earlier as well, earning himself a 10-minute misconduct for swinging his stick at the ref.
First, consider his most recent verbal assault on a public servant:

He received a misconduct for that action, and because he has committed the same offence twice and has been suspended from two other leagues aside from the AHL, he faces a lengthy sentence.
Below are videos of his other two violent crimes, in which he both two-handedly cut a referee and slammed a referee's head into the boards. The league reports that the official has damaged ribs, a jaw, and a facial bone. Geesh.
He will now be the subject of a police investigation since these actions are so abhorrent.
