Lightning's Jeff Vinik Did Something Very Special Last Night

While the Tampa Bay Lightning were looking to force a Game 7 last night against the Colorado Avalanche, we learned the Lightning's owner did something very special.

According to Sportsnet Greg Wyshynski, Tampa Bay Lightning Owner Jeff Vinik has given all his full time employees $5,000 each to give to their favorite charities of their choices.

This is really awesome and will help many charities. The amount to be donated is believed to be $1.2M.
