The 2022 World Junior Hockey Championships returned tonight in Edmonton Alberta Canada, after having the Tournament cancelled back in December due to a Covid outbreak between two teams.
During tonight's game between Team USA and Team Germany New Jersey Devils prospect Luke Hughes would do something older brothers Quinn and Jack couldn't do.
14 minutes into the first period Hughes would get the opening goal to give Team USA a 1-0 lead.
All though both Jack and Quinn Hughes are two of the brightest young stars in the NHL, neither of them were able to score a goal in the World junior hockey championships giving Luke some bragging rights at family dinners.
