Calgary Flames defenceman Rasmus Andersson scored on Mike Smith last night from his own blue line more than 100 feet or about 66 yards out.

With the game winding down with less than 10:00 to go and on the Edmonton powerplayin the third period, Mike Smith allowed the worst goal any of us have ever seen in a playoff game.
In a moment of desperation, Andersson decided that he was prime Gretzky and took a shot on net from his own blue line. As you can see in the video, the puck bounces off the ice in front of Smith and beats him glove side, a foot off the ice.

Immediately after, Smith gets up with his arms opened to the side as to ask the world and himself how in gods name he let that in. For someone 6'5 he sure doesn't cover the net as well as he should. Mind-blowing.
Andersson's shorthanded goal was his third of the playoffs giving the Swedish defenceman six points through 11 games.
And yes, he did mean to score that.
