Michkov, is projected to be one of the best players in his draft class, possibly even the single best ahead of Connor Bedard. The 18-year-old Russia is undoubtably a great player already at his age. At his age it is only the beginning, having three more years to develop in one of the hardest leagues in the world (KHL). This was a concern for other teams who were worried about waiting, the Flyers have no problem waiting and understood the risks.
