Major piece in the flyers future might be missing from the lineup
The team found it easy to part ways with Tony DeAngelo, even though he wanted to stay, due to the atmosphere he created. The question now is whether the same will be true for Wade Allison.
Allison has only played in 75 games for the Philadelphia Flyers due to frequent injuries, and he is still working on his skills as a power forward.
This season, he only managed to play in 60 games, contributing a total of 15 points.

This has made it difficult for coach John Tortorella to determine how best to use the 26-year-old forward. There's a possibility that Tortorella may push for Briere to move on from Allison, which would cause problems for the team's forward core, especially after losing DeAngelo.
However, if Briere remains committed to not blocking the team's younger players, Allison's departure could create an opportunity for another promising young player.
Ultimately, Allison's future with the team will depend on his ability to stay healthy and perform well during upcoming training camps.
