Maple Leafs Make Odd Decision Regarding Wayne Simmonds

Simmonds has one year remaining on his term and Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas stated there is currently no room for the veteran forward on their opening night roster, Dubas continued to state that they were actively shopping Simmonds and made him available to all 32 NHL teams.

Well it seems as if all 32 teams passed on Wayne Simmonds, and the Maple Leafs realize they are in need of grittiness, oddly enough the Maple Leafs are scratching former Philadelphia Flyers Nicolas-Aube Kubel, and giving Wayne Simmonds a shot in their lineup as they have recalled him.
