Maple Leafs players prepared a surprise for former Flyer Simmonds' 1000th game

Wayne Simmonds was a fan favourite during his years in Philadelphia. He scored 203 goals in 8 years as a Flyer. But even though he contributed on the scoresheet, his work ethic and his passion were the things that really made Flyers fans fall in love with him.

As of now, Simmonds is a Maple Leaf and he is set to play his 1000th game in the NHL tonight against the Vancouver Canucks. And his teammates prepared a special t-shirt for him in order to highlight this feat.

Absolutely awesome.
