Meet the Newest Flyer: Matteo Mann

Matteo Mann is a huge human being. 6'6, 229 pounds. As you can see in the video, he towers over everyone else when he's out on the ice. With the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the QMJHL, Mann had 0 goals and 5 assists in 45 games. In his best season, Matteo had 12 points in 38 games. He's never been pretty in the stat line, so Philadelphia most likely picked him because of his size.

With a draft headlined by Matvei Michkov, the Flyers had an all-round good draft, mixing from size, speed, and shooting strengths.
