As a hockey fan, it is always great to see NHL stars and other players decide to return to their roots and spend time in their former communities where they grew up.
These towns and cities are where their friends and potential future teammates also grew up playing the game they love, honing their skills on ponds, hockey rinks, and even streets.
After the season concluded, Morgan Frost, who is currently working on extending his services with the Flyers, paid a visit to his hometown of Aurora, ON. Restaurant owner Sam Sabari posted a tweet showing Frost at his restaurant, which Frost frequents every summer.
Frost has visited this restaurant so often that Sam decided to name a sauce after him. Seeing NHL stars connect with fans on a personal level like this shows that they have not lost their sense of community while staying grounded and remembering those who helped them reach their current position.

Frost had ties to the NHL even before his playing career, as his father was the play-by-play announcer at the Toronto Maple Leafs' home arena for many years.
The 24-year-old played 81 games this year for the Flyers, scoring nineteen goals, providing 27 assists for a total of 46 points, and accumulating 24 penalty minutes. He recently completed a one-year contract worth $800k and is poised for a raise in the upcoming season.
