Hockey is known to be one of the most physical sports played. The impact of one player to another at an incredible speed is painful, trust me. With such a physical sport comes injuries, it's part of the game. One player goes down, the next man is up. You probably are thinking "Yeah we know injuries work, we get it.". I'm sure you get it, so let's cut to the chase.
The Philadelphia Flyers had received devastating news a few days ago when doctors revealed a potential season ending injury to Sean Courtier. Courter, who had missed more than half the season last year, now will be shelved again.
He is the best player of the Flyers roster defensively and arguably offensively. He is the highest paid player on the team and if stays, will become the longest tenured Flyer all-time. When healthy, he is an incredible asset to this team... WHEN HEALTHY.

With all the money involved and invested with Sean Courtier, is it a possibility the organization could explore options on him and gain a ton of equity by trading him?
Now, I'm not saying i am agreeance to this but back to season ending injuries. He received a contract that hits over $7 millions dollars from now to 2030. I think Coots is an amazing player, but to be paid the bug bucks, you have to be on the ice. Something to maybe think about.
