Travis Konecny showed off his talents tonight with two great goals in a 5-3 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
His first goal was a short handed one , a great individual effort with steady stickhandling ability held his ground then sniped the shot past Columbus goalie Daniil Tarasov which broke the ice and put the Flyers up 1-0 in the first period.
Then at 17 minutes and 16 seconds remaining in the third TK breaks down the right side and had an outstanding backhand and buried it to put up the Flyers 4-2. His patience and skill set shone in that goal.

TK has been heating up recently with 4 goals and 1 assist in his last five games. going into tonight's contest he played 27 games with 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points. Coach Tortorella certainly was pleased tonight and offered these comments for him.
The Flyers will be on the road for their next game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday at 2:00 PM.
