The Vancouver Canucks have had a terrible performance this season, and it appears like they have contradicted themselves more often than not.
Up until this night, Bruce Boudreau's contradicting was fairly basic and reasonable. Unfortunately, last night, Bruce went a bit overboard, and many are considering it the "worst decision of the season."
As usual, the Vancouver Canucks took the ice early in the morning for their pre-game skate before last night's game, but forward
Brock Boeser noticed something odd: his name was missing from the lineups on the team's white board in the locker room.
Although the choice to bench Brock Boeser was not a big one, and many teams bench their stars from time to time due to performance issues, for Boeser it was more than a significant issue considering the sort of day he had on Saturday.

This off-season, Brock Boeser's father lost his fight with cancer, and Brock was as devastated as anybody would be. Brock said his father was more than just his father; he was also his coach and closest friend.
For the first time this season, Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau decided to sit Boeser last night on Hockey Fights Cancer night. Bruce was asked why he decided to healthy scratch Boeser,Boudreau stated itas "tough love."
Boeser expressed his disappointment afterbeing a healthy scratch for the first time this year, saying; ''It was a very important game for me and my family, so when I came in this morning and my name wasn't on the white board it hurt - it hurt bad.'' Said Boeser, in relation to being a healthy scratch for the first time this season.
He was suddenly reinstated to the lineup by the Canucks, which caused Boesers' emotions to change once more. He later scored the game-winning goal.
The Canucks announced that Boeser is now free to negotiate with other clubs about a trade, after disrespecting him.
