Rick Bowness, the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets, is scheduled to appear against the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. He is expected to miss at least one more game after testing positive for COVID-19.

The 67-year-old veteran, who was recently named the head coach of the Winnipeg Jets for this season, sadly missed the Jets season opener on Friday. Despite his absence, the Jets still managed to defeat the New York Rangers. He also missed a crucial game against his former team, the Dallas Stars, according to interim head coach Scott Arniel, who spoke to the media after practice on Saturday. Through TSN
For the Jets' benefit, there will be no game this weekend.
